About the Role
We are seeking a Human Resources Consultant who is eager to grow professionally, take on strategic challenges, and work directly with multiple clients across different industries. This position is ideal for a professional who combines strong knowledge of Puerto Rico labor laws with business acumen and a consulting mindset. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic Human Resources consulting services while ensuring compliance with Puerto Rico labor laws and HR best practices.
- Develop, review, and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
- Follow up on recruitment processes in collaboration with the Recruitment team.
- Conduct employee selection and hiring processes for clients.
- Support performance evaluation processes, action plans, and talent development programs.
- Manage employee relations matters, including internal investigations, disciplinary actions, and termination processes in accordance with applicable laws.
- Advise managers and business owners on decisions aligned with their business objectives.
- Coordinate and facilitate compliance and organizational development training.
- Prepare reports, analyses, and recommendations while maintaining high standards of quality and confidentiality.
- Represent Tasklix in client meetings by projecting confidence and credibility.
- Collaborate with the internal team to optimize processes and ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Travel to client facilities as required.
- Perform other duties related to the position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Required Skills
- Previous experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist role within small or medium-sized companies.
- Strong knowledge of Puerto Rico labor legislation.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Valid driver’s license and availability to travel.
