Human Resources AdministratorAs part of the global Human Resources team, and reporting to the local Human Resources Business Partner, the Human Resources Administrator is accountable for providing excellence in operational Human Resources support to the assigned business units. This role plays a critical part in facilitating smooth onboarding, payroll coordination and the HR documentation processes.Direct Reports: N/AKey Responsibilities & Duties:Accurately enters and updates employee information in ADP Workforce Now, including hires, changes and terminationsCollaborates with Payroll to ensure seamless data transfer and document processing within assigned timeframesMaintains and organizes all HR employee files and records in the HR drive and ADP Workforce NowLeads the recruitment efforts including job postings, resume screening, scheduling and participating in interviewsSupports the full-cycle recruitment by managing pre-employment processes such as background screeningsCoordinates onboarding for new hires through ADP Workforce Now, ensuring all required documents are completed and filed (e.g., I-9 documentation, policy acknowledgements etc.)Assists in preparing employment-related letters such as offer letters, employment agreements and employee status changes for HR Business Partner reviewAdministers benefit programs including tracking eligibility dates, employee enrollments and terminationsAssists the HR department in administering the US benefit open enrollment process, ensuring accuracy and timely completionOversees the Employee Referral Bonus Program and other HR initiatives as assignedEnsures all HR processes adhere to labor laws and company policiesAssists the HR Business Partner with offboarding processes such as collecting resignation letters and processing the termination in ADP Workforce NowPerforms other duties outside their scope of work as assigned and requiredQualifications & Competencies:Certificate, diploma or degree accreditation in Human Resources or related field is preferred or working towards a designation is an assetMinimum 2 years' experience in a Human Resources rolePrior experience with full-cycle recruiting, including conducting interviewsGeneral knowledge of Human Resources functions and programsWorking experience with ADP Workforce Now, or other Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) including navigating the system, reporting, updating and entering dataHighly conversant with Microsoft Office and other computer application programs; strong understanding of MS Excel including pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP and related functionsKnowledge of employment legislation an assetPractical knowledge of operations, company policies and government regulations including but not limited to Employment Standards, Human Rights etc.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with Human Resources mattersExcellent client service and interpersonal/communication skills, verbally and written and exceptional organizational skillsAble to exercise sound judgment, is self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize key requirements in a fast-paced environment is a mustStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesMust be able to read, write and speak/understand English fluentlyWork Environment & Physical Requirements:This role is conducted in an office environment requiring some or all the following:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstationRepetitive hand and arm movementsOccasional lifting up to 20lbs may be requiredFrequent reaching, grasping, pushing or pulling, bending or twisting motionsWalking short distances and standing for meetings or other office activities
