Human Resources CoordinatorThe Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department and serves as a key resource for the coordination of day-to-day HR operations. Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, this role is responsible for maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, administering HR processes, managing HR documentation, and assisting with benefits and HR related systems. The HR Coordinator ensures accurate recordkeeping, timely completion of administrative tasks, and positive employee experience while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHR Administration & RecordkeepingMaintain employee personnel files, HRIS records, and other HR documentation.Prepare, distribute, and maintain employment-related forms, letters, and correspondence.Coordinate document collection, filing, and retention in accordance with company policies.Audit employee records and HR data to ensure accuracy and completeness.Assist with HR reporting, data entry, and administrative projects.All other duties as assigned.Recruitment & Onboarding SupportPost job openings and manage applicant tracking system activities.Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates and hiring managers.Facilitate background checks, drug screenings, reference checks, and pre-employment requirements.Prepare onboarding documents and new hire orientation materials.Coordinate new hire orientation schedules and onboarding activities.Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed and properly filed.Community OutreachCoordinate volunteer opportunities for RED employees to participate in events with our local community including, but not limited to, Habitat for Humanity, United Way Day of Caring.Coordinate and manage applicable on-site events such as blood drives for example.Assist in initiatives that support RED's culture, values, internal communications and volunteer activitiesBenefits & Payroll AdministrationAssist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and related paperwork.Support annual open enrollment activities and employee communications.Facilitate the response to routine employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR programs.Coordinate with HR team to plan and manage employee wellness events including but not limited to walking challenges, immunization clinics, etc.Employee Support & CommunicationServe as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries.Assist employees with HR forms, policies, and administrative processes.Prepare employee communications, announcements, and HR-related materials.Support employee recognition, wellness, and engagement activities.Manage OptiSign program including weekly slide updates, or as neededGeneral Administrative SupportAssist in the coordination of senior leadership meetings, town hall meetings, and vendors as required.Assist with the purchasing of office supplies for specific functions or events including project-based supplies for the HR team.Order and delivery of meals for leadership or vendor meetings, including set up and clean up.Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, including interoffice mail.Manage the anniversary and birthday card programCompliance & CoordinationFile required employment records and documentation.Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and compliance-related recordkeeping.Track required training, certifications, licenses, and other workforce documentation.Maintain and report out on training compliance weekly; communicating monthly training requirements.Maintain confidentiality of employee, payroll, and company information at all times.QualificationsEducation and ExperienceAssociate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related work experience preferred2–4 years of administrative, human resources, payroll, benefits, or office support experience required.Experience supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong administrative and organizational skills.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now preferred.Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Work Environment & ExpectationsPrimarily office-based position with frequent interaction with employees, managers, and external vendors.Requires extended periods of sitting and computer use.Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.Provides support to both office and field-based employees.Physical DemandsAble to operate computer keyboard, printers, copier, etc.Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day.Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs.Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written words.CompensationAs required by multiple state pay transparency laws, RED-Rochester provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting.

Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $28.00 to $32 per hour.
