Job Duties
nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Human Factors Engineer to support the development of Class III implantable neurostimulator systems. In this role, you will ensure safe and effective product use by leading usability validation activities and driving use-related risk analysis throughout the product lifecycle.

nKey Responsibilities
n•Lead human factors usability validation efforts, including:
no Protocol development
no Study design and execution
no Data analysis and reporting
n•Develop, maintain, and update Use-Related Risk Analysis (URRA) documentation
n•Design and conduct simulated-use studies to support:
no Product development
no Risk identification and mitigation
no Regulatory submissions
n•Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, quality, clinical) to:
no Improve product usability
no Ensure safe and effective device use
n•Apply human factors principles to optimize user-device interactions
nMinimum Education Required
nBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Human Factors, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, or related field
nMinimum Experience Required
nRequired Qualifications
n•5+ years of experience in human factors engineering within medical devices
n•Strong experience with:
no Usability validation testing
no Risk analysis (URRA, ISO 14971, IEC 62366 preferred)
n•Proven ability to manage projects and work cross-functionally
nPreferred Qualifications
n•Experience with Class III medical devices
n•Strong understanding of regulatory expectations (FDA, usability engineering standards)
n•Experience mentoring or leading projects
