We are seeking full-time Housekeepers for our Assisted Living Facility in Tidewater Cove (Suffolk, VA)
Shifts available: 6:00 am-2:00 pm, 11:00 am-7:00 pm
Duties and Responsibilities for Housekeeper:

• Sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, and dust/polish furniture in common areas daily; clean bathrooms and the kitchen daily.
• Submit completed requisition for cleaning supplies through the Program Manager. Assist in safety and sanitation inspections. Launder resident clothing, common-use items, and linens. Provide emergency transportation services.
• Assist with purchasing, storing, and setting aside food supplies. Utilize positive behavior management techniques and demonstrate role model behaviors to motivate consumers. Ensure consumers' health, safety, and welfare by complying with OSHA regulations. Safeguard and maintain consumers' civil rights. Comply with all Human Rights Regulations.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete all required in-service trainings. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills for Housekeeper:

• High School diploma or GED Certificate;
• Six months of relevant work experience;
