Practice Info
- Join a close-knit, well-established team of 8 physicians, 1 advanced practice provider (APP), and a clinical performance nurse at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.
- Team meets monthly to review performance metrics, address group matters, and collaborate on solutions to improve patient care.
- Work alongside a dedicated, high-performing team supported by a clinical performance nurse, with access to resources that foster individual and team success.
- Provide high-quality care through a daily rounding model involving three providers, with an average patient census of 12-15 per provider.
- On-call periods include admissions ranging from zero to a maximum of four to five patients.
- Engage in challenging cases within an open ICU setting, supported by diverse services such as interventional cardiology, pulmonology, and nephrology.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care through a daily rounding model.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, general surgery, urology, GI, endocrinology, orthopedics, and wound care specialists.
- Collaborate with a dedicated nocturnist for 7p-7a coverage.
- Work alongside advanced practice providers (APPs) from Bethel University to contribute to teaching and expanding educational services.

Shift & Schedule
- Option for a flexible schedule.
- Standard rotation is 7-days on and 7-days off, spanning Monday through Sunday.
- Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts.
