Sound Physicians is seeking an Emergency Medicine Provider to join their team at WTH – Dyersburg Hospital. Practice Info
- Join a team of 9 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers at WTH – Dyersburg Hospital, supported by a clinical performance nurse.
- The 16-bed emergency department sees approximately 75 patients per day.
- Access to a broad range of specialized services, including cardiology, pulmonology, general surgery, urology, GI pediatrics, OB, radiology, anesthesiology, nephrology, and endocrinology.
Responsibilities
- Manage a 16-bed emergency department.
- See approximately 75 patients per day.
- Care for patients in critical conditions, from motor vehicle collisions to violent crimes.
- Perform chest tube placements, intubations, and trauma care.

- 24 hours of physician coverage complemented by 2-12 hour APP shifts/day (9a-9p and 2p-2a).
Requirements
- Board-certified/eligible in emergency or family medicine with emergency medicine experience.
- Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and trauma care.
