Practice Info
- Seeking a day hospitalist and a nocturnist to join a team of 18 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers (APPs).
- Supported by a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator at Mt. Carmel East.
- The team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
- Manage complex cases in an open ICU environment with intensivist coverage.
- No expectation of performing procedures or running codes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care and drive performance.
- Work exclusively overnight shifts for the Nocturnist role.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to teaching medical and APP students from surrounding universities and programs on occasion.
- Participate in regular team meetings, held two to three times per week, to discuss critical items.
- Engage in monthly regional meetings to review performance and address outstanding practice matters.
