Job Details
  • Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapy Contract
  • Location: Seattle, Washington
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770 - $1,900
  • Shift: 12-hour day shifts
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Contract Length: 26 weeks
  • Setting: Pediatric critical care / inpatient hospital environment
  • Float Requirement: Floating to all inpatient and acute care areas as needed
  • On-Call: Not required
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of applicable respiratory therapy experience
  • Prior PICU or NICU experience required; intensive care experience strongly preferred
  • Experience caring for neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
  • Current BLS, PALS, RRT, NBRC-RRT, and Washington RCP certification/license required
  • Ability to manage airways, ventilators, oxygen therapy, suctioning, nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPAP
  • Experience with pediatric critical care equipment and high-acuity patient populations preferred
  • Epic charting experience is preferred
  • Must be willing to work holidays and provide schedule flexibility as needed
Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients across inpatient and acute care settings
  • Assess patient respiratory status and deliver appropriate therapy interventions
  • Support airway management, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and nebulizer treatments
  • Perform suctioning, pulmonary toileting, and tracheostomy care as indicated
  • Respond to changes in patient condition with calm, timely, and skilled intervention
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support high-quality patient outcomes
  • Float across inpatient units and assist with code or rapid response situations when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols consistently
