• Shift Schedule: 5x8 schedule, 06:00-14:30
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920-$2,060
• Call Requirements: After 2:30 PM, weekends, and holidays
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Location: Midland, TX

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR tech or cardiovascular surgery technician experience
• Community hospital experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Experience with hybrid OR, CVOR, or Cath Lab procedures strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable supporting adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to complete compliance requirements and pre-start documentation on time

Responsibilities

• Support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a hospital operating room environment
• Assist with hybrid cases involving both CVOR and Cath Lab teams
• Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical field
• Participate in advanced cardiovascular and general surgical procedures as assigned
• Follow universal protocol, specimen handling, and isolation precautions
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the care team
• Provide reliable coverage during scheduled shifts and call assignments
• Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail in a fast-paced healthcare setting
