Pay Range: $43.65 to $60.40 per hour
Job Description
Oversees the day-to-day operations in support of all facets of the laboratory operation. Ensures effective operation and maintenance of all laboratory equipment, manages testing, develops and manages budgets, meets customer service levels, and regulatory requirements. Manages staff including scheduling, performance management and fostering employee engagement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field or Health, Education, and Welfare (HEW) equivalency exam (pre 1988) with seven years of relevant experience 3 to 7 years of Laboratory experience 3 to 7 years of progressive management accountability
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in medical technology or related field Licenses/Certifications Certified Medical Laboratory Technician - American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) required upon hire Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) preferred
