Amergis Healthcare Staffing is actively hiring Special Education Teachers (SPED) for Mild/Moderate (M/M) and Moderate/Severe (M/S) classroom openings in Santa Ana, CA . We are seeking dedicated educators committed to helping students achieve academic and personal success in a supportive learning environment.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher provides quality educational services to students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. The selected candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized programs, provide specialized instruction, and support student achievement.

Qualifications

? Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

? Valid California teaching credential/certification as required by state and district regulations

? Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)

? Special Education Teaching Credential (preferred)

? Standard Elementary or Secondary Teaching Credential (preferred)

? Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement (preferred)

? Current CPR certification (if applicable)

? Current TB screening, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

? Current Health Certificate (per state or contract requirements)

? Must comply with all federal, state, and local requirements

? Must be at least 18 years of age

? Demonstrates professional standards of practice and collaboration
