Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant (PA)

Nuvance Health, formerly Western Connecticut Health, offers a full‑time, employed Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant position in Danbury, Connecticut. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday with primarily outpatient coverage and no evenings, weekends, or on‑call shifts.

Schedule

Monday–Friday workday, no evenings, weekends, or call.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient care to patients with hematology and oncology conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer care team.
• Participate in clinical meetings and patient hand‑offs as required.

Qualifications

• Board certified Physician Assistant with prior Hematology/Oncology experience.
• Valid New Hampshire or Connecticut State license for Physician Assistants.
• Federal DEA registration and Connecticut Controlled Substance registration.
• Minimum formal education of a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant training program.

Benefits

$120,000 / yr.–$170,000 / yr. (Commensurate with experience)
