Hematology and Oncology Physician Needed in Georgia

Role Overview

We are seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible medical oncologist to join a collaborative group of 18‑19 oncologists at a Joint Commission‑certified medical center in Augusta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Monday–Friday schedule with call only 8 weeks per year.
• Split schedule: 2.5 days clinic and 2.5 days research.
• Provide patient care in gastrointestinal, lung, or breast oncology with a solid tumor focus.
• Participate in clinical trials and research activities.
• Collaborate with a full support team including APPs, NPs, and dedicated administrative assistants.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in medical oncology, preferably with a solid tumor focus.
• Board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologist.
• Experience with clinical trials and research.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
