Environmental Site ForemanTerraphase Engineering is seeking a hands-on Environmental Site Foreman to support environmental construction and remediation projects throughout the region. This role is ideal for someone with a construction or heavy civil background who enjoys working in the field, leading crews, and solving problems, but is looking for a role with greater variety and long-term career growth.You will oversee field operations on projects involving earthwork, grading, environmental remediation, and construction activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. This position is a key link between project managers, clients, subcontractors, and field crews.The role includes:Leading daily field operations on environmental and construction projectsSupervising field crews of 3 to 5 employees and coordinating subcontractorsInterpreting construction drawings, grading plans, and project specificationsCoordinating equipment, materials, and project logisticsMonitoring project progress, safety, quality, and productionPreparing daily reports, field documentation, and project updatesAssisting with project budgeting, tracking labor and equipment costs, and reporting project statusTraveling to project sites throughout the region as neededWho you are:5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor, Field Superintendent, Foreman, or similar leadership roleExperience managing projects with budgets of approximately $100,000 or largerExperience leading field crews and coordinating daily construction activitiesStrong understanding of construction plans, grading plans, and field operationsExperience operating heavy equipmentComfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentationValid driver's license and willingness to travelExperience towing trucks and trailersPreferred qualifications:Environmental remediation or environmental construction experienceExperience managing project budgets and understanding project financial terms such as fixed fee, time and materials, utilization, and expensesDOT certification or familiarity with DOT regulationsOSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER or other applicable safety certificationsCDL is a plus but not requiredWho we are:Terraphase is an environmental consulting company that offers cost-effective solutions to complex environmental and engineering challenges.
