Our legal client, a highly established law firm with more than 150 years of history in downtown Detroit, is seeking an experienced Health Care Attorney to join its practice. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in health care corporate and transactional law, with experience providing strategic and practical legal counsel to health care professionals, medical practices, and other organizations within the health care industry. Candidates should have experience with transactional matters, general corporate law, and regulatory compliance. More senior attorneys are encouraged to apply. A modest book of business is favorable but not required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal experience in health care corporate and transactional law
• Experience advising health care professionals, medical practices, and other organizations within the health care industry
• Strong background in transactional matters, general corporate law, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and client relations skills
• Ability to provide practical and strategic legal guidance to clients
• A modest book of business is favorable but not required

Responsibilities

• Advise health care professionals, medical practices, and organizations on a wide range of corporate and regulatory matters
• Structure, draft, review, and negotiate contracts and health care related business transactions
• Counsel clients regarding applicable health care laws and regulatory compliance requirements
• Provide proactive and strategic legal guidance to support client business and operational goals
• Work directly with clients across the health care industry on sophisticated corporate and transactional matters
