Hardware Quality Engineer
Job Overview

- Our hardware quality engineers ensure that our devices in the field meet the rigorous standards required to keep automotive vehicles safe on the road
What you do
- Lead hardware quality roadmap development, strategy, and execution
- Analyze data from internal testing and customer deployments to discover and mitigate issues
- Triage and investigate hardware issues reported by customers and partners
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve our hardware systems and processes
- Devise requirements for in-line testing, end-of-line testing, and acceptance testing
- Review documentation for manufacturing processes
- Balance the needs of our customers with the capabilities of our solution
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Experience with building or deploying hardware products deployed at scale
- Familiarity with electronic manufacturing processes
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience applying statistical analyses to engineering problems
- 2+ years of experience in hardware quality
- Passion for automotive safety
- Experience working with remote manufacturing partners
- Prior experience in loT hardware
- Prior startup experience
- Ability to thrive under pressure
