Hardware Engineer – Power ElectronicsWe are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer with expertise in Power Electronics to join our team on a contract basis in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and testing hardware systems for power conversion, motor control, or similar high-power applications.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop power electronic circuits including DC-DC, AC-DC, and motor drive systemsPerform schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, and component selectionConduct hardware bring-up, testing, and validationCollaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, and systems engineeringAnalyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and implement design improvementsEnsure compliance with electrical safety and EMC standardsSupport product lifecycle from concept to productionQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field3+ years of experience in hardware engineering with a focus on power electronicsStrong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design and power supply designExperience with simulation tools (SPICE, PLECS, etc.) and lab instruments (oscilloscopes, power analyzers)Familiarity with EMC/EMI considerations and thermal design practicesExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsExperience with automotive, aerospace, or industrial applications is a plus
