In this role, you will collaborate closely with hardware design, ODM partners, software, and manufacturing teams to define and execute test strategies for next-generation networking products. You will play a critical role in ensuring products meet IEEE 802.3 standards and are ready for successful production release.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, ODM, manufacturing) to define and execute product test strategiesDevelop and implement system- and board-level test plans for new hardware platformsPerform electrical validation and compliance testing against IEEE 802.3 standards (optical and copper interfaces)Design and set up complex test environments, including stress and worst-case scenario testingExecute EDVT (Engineering Design Verification Testing), document results, and debug issues to resolutionPerform bring-up, debugging, and bench-level repair of engineering prototypesIdentify and evaluate test equipment and architectures required for new product validationConduct signal integrity and performance measurements (e.g., eye diagrams, jitter, return loss, voltage metrics)Support HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) at external labs as neededCollaborate with ODM partners to review and approve test strategies, plans, and resultsCommunicate test progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders at all levelsDrive continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and best practicesEvaluate technical readiness and ensure zero design defects prior to manufacturing releaseBasic QualificationsMSEE/CS with 3–5 years of experience, or BSEE/CS with 5–7+ years of experienceHands-on experience testing networking products and L2/L3 protocolsMinimum 3 years of experience with IEEE 802.3 standards, including:Optical transceivers and RJ45 MagJack interfacesSpeeds from 10/100/1000 to 400GTest methodologies such as eye mask, jitter, CMOV, return loss, differential output voltage, and output droopStrong debugging and problem-solving skills in hardware validation environmentsPreferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in IEEE 802.3 validation and high-speed interface testingCCNA or CCNP certificationDeep expertise in signal integrity for copper and fiber Ethernet interfacesProven experience as a technical lead or subject matter expert in hardware validationAdditional InformationTravel: Up to 5%What We Can Offer You:Health & WellbeingWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.Personal & Professional DevelopmentWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.

– United States of America: Annual Salary USD 105,500 - 213,500 in CaliforniaThe listed salary range reflects base salary.
