Graphic DesignerA graphic designer at Elevate Life Church works to bring to life many kinds of communication with high visual impact. They are a member of the creative team and have a keen business sense, as well as creative flair. They prepare visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts.
Examples of work may include but are not limited to: visual branding for message series/events/church identity/etc., websites, graphics for LED screens, product packaging, books/workbook/magazines, advertising, and exhibitions & displays.Responsibilities:Design & Creative Develop original design concepts that communicate the church's brandStay current with design trends, tools, and technologiesDesign for digital, live services, and print environmentsWork within brand guidelines to ensure consistencyCreate graphics for services, sermon series, ministries, and eventsCollaborate with videographers to produce graphics for motion and screen useEnsure all visual content is engaging, clear, and aligned with the message being communicatedParticipate in creative planning for sermon series and major events (Easter, Christmas, etc.)Manage multiple projects, incorporating feedback and meeting deadlinesService & Event Support Support social media and marketing efforts with visual contentBe available during services and events for last-minute graphic updatesPrepare and format visuals for live productionBrand Stewardship & Organization Present ideas for design concepts to be used in branding projectsPrepare final files for print, digital, and screen useMaintain organized design files and asset librariesEnsure brand consistency across all materialsHelp develop and refine templates and visual standardsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESPersonal relationship with Jesus Christ and heart of a servant leader.Strong attention to detail.Must have a desire and understanding of research, documentation, and policy development.Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.Excellent relational, communication and organizational skills and maintains a positive, can-do attitude; values personal growth and development; and demonstrates passion for positive change/willingness to grow and change with Elevate Life Church.Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal formats and build and maintain strong relationships.Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessaryStrong project management or organizational skills.Proficient in MSOffice SuiteAbility to edit & create graphics, reels, and email designs.Proficient in Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social media platforms
