Job Title: Global Product Manager – Energy Valves

A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Global Product Manager for Energy Valves to drive business growth and expand market leadership in the HVAC sector. This role is responsible for the upstream product lifecycle globally, including market insights, product strategy, portfolio and product planning, development preparation, and product launch. The Global Product Manager will collaborate closely with regional teams, innovation, supply chain, and project management throughout product development and launch, ensuring sustainable growth and customer value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product strategy in collaboration with international and regional teams.
- Gather customer and sales input to inform strategy and roadmaps.
- Lead product development, including documentation and stakeholder alignment.
- Plan and execute customer validation and global field testing.
- Define strategic pricing and global value propositions.
- Drive product lifecycle management, including technical documentation, launch plans, and training support.
- Track commercial success, KPIs, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Support resolution of quality cases and manage product transitions.
- Own product management deliverables throughout the product creation process, including Market Concept Documents, Business Case Calculations, Product Openings, and Phase-in/Phase-out activities.
- Coordinate projects and collaborate with group divisions and regional teams.
- Provide 2nd level support and oversee product development.
Key Competencies & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, or equivalent technical/professional experience.
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in hydronic systems, cooling technologies, or data center applications.
- 5+ years in manufacturing for building automation or HVAC control strongly preferred.
- Strong results orientation and ability to drive projects to completion.
- Excellent collaboration, influencing, and communication skills.
- Structured working style and ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to meet project timelines and resolve roadblocks.
- Collaborative, trustworthy, and high integrity.
- Ability to travel globally 15-20%.
- Experience in the HVAC industry or related sectors is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
