GlazierThis role focuses on commercial glazing work across small to mid-sized projects, including storefronts, windows, peaked glass, storefront doors, and curtain wall systems. You will prepare and install glass and framing systems, supervise field installations, and ensure projects meet specifications and quality standards throughout the Denver metro area.ResponsibilitiesInstall and set commercial glass systems, including storefronts, windows, peaked glass, storefront doors, and curtain wall systems.Prepare frames, anchors, and related components for glass installation, ensuring all materials are correctly measured, aligned, and secured.Supervise the installation of glass in the field, ensuring that glaziers follow project plans, safety standards, and quality expectations.Lead and manage crews of 2–5 team members on job sites, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and supporting efficient workflow.Review and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements, layout, and installation details, and use this information to plan and direct work.Determine and coordinate the appropriate use of material handling equipment, such as forklifts or other manipulators, for safe and efficient glass handling.Lay out frames and units according to drawings and specifications, verifying measurements and ensuring proper fit and alignment.Perform caulking, sealing, and finishing work to ensure weather-tight and aesthetically consistent installations.Conduct site preparation and cleanup, maintaining an organized and safe work area throughout the project.Collaborate with shop and field teams to coordinate schedules, materials, and installation sequencing for commercial new construction projects.Essential SkillsAt least 5 years of experience in glazing, with a focus on commercial glass installation.Strong experience in carpentry or glazing, with hands-on experience in commercial construction environments.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings accurately.Proven experience leading and managing crews of 2 or more team members on job sites.Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, equipment, and construction materials.Ability to read a tape measure accurately and perform precise measurements and layouts.Experience supervising the installation of glass and related framing systems in the field.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as a carpenter, apprentice, or foreman in commercial construction environments.Familiarity with commercial glass systems, including storefronts, curtain walls, and peaked glass installations.Comfort using material handling equipment such as forklifts or other manipulators for glass installation.Ability to plan crew layouts and workflows based on project blueprints and site conditions.Why Work Here?The company focuses exclusively on projects within the Denver metro area, helping you maintain a stable work-life balance without extensive travel. The work involves handling glass and framing systems, using tools and equipment such as manipulators and forklifts as needed, and operating in active construction environments where safety, coordination, and clear communication are essential.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
