Endoscopy Technician IShift: Day (United States of America)Shift: 8 and 10hr daysRequired Minimum Experience:No endoscopy experience is required. Successful completion of 2-day system endoscopy education within 30 days of hire. Required and successful completion of on-the-job training with documentation of orientation and all competencies met (specific competencies determined by facility of employment).
RequiredRequired Minimum Skills:Ability to read, write and speak the English language; strong customer service and interpersonal skills; BCLS required. Ability to collaborate with other health care providers in the provision of patient care; competency in all aspects of GI procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors and radiation protection; ability to delegate to other team members as required; ability to multi-task is essential: ability to function in stressful and emergent situations essential; strong detail orientation required; proficiency in all general GI procedures is required. Computer skills may be required; emergency call coverage requirements specific to facility of employment.
