Role : Generalist Tax Manager
Location: Alpharetta, GA (hybrid setting with 2-3 days in office)
Pay Range: $130K-$205K/yr DOE (we welcome Supervisor, Manager, and Sr. Manager level candidates to apply!)

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Generalist Tax Manager to join our Client's growingteam. As a Generalist Tax Manager, you will work on various returns, including individuals, partnerships, S-corps, and some trusts/estates/gift taxand nonprofits (depending on your experience in these additional areas); youwill also help train junior staff. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage tax compliance and reporting activities for the firm's clientele, including federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate any potential impact to the business.
• Conduct research and provide guidance on tax issues and implications for clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are taken into account in business initiatives and transactions.
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with 1040, 1120S, and 1065
• Ideal to have SALT tax experience, and great if you also have experience with trusts/ estates/ gift tax + nonprofits
• Strong tax prep experience
• CPA certification required for Managers & Sr Managers. If applying as a Supervisor-level candidate, we're happy to speak withcandidates currently taking theCPA exams orthose who've earned EAs (and are working toward/or intend to gaina CPA).
• At least 5 years of experience in tax compliance and reporting, preferably in a managerial/ leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with tax planning and research.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
