The position is ideal for an innovative and efficient general neurologist interested in exploring and developing new patient‑care models.
Academic & Teaching Opportunities
- Clinical research across translational studies, participating in clinical trials within the Henry Ford Neuroscience Institute.
- Teaching and mentoring medical students and neurology residents.
- Potential tenure‑track academic appointment through Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Wayne State School of Medicine, or Henry Ford Medical Group.
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive neurologic care in a busy practice that handles over 30,000 outpatient visits annually. Manage inpatient neurology patients in stroke units, EMUs, Neuro ICU, and step‑down units across urban and community hospitals, treating over 5,000 inpatients each year.
Qualifications
- Valid medical degree.
- Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved Neurology residency program.
- Board‑eligible and board‑certified within three years of eligibility.
