General Manager Of VenuesThis is an onsite role based out of our offices in Doral, FL. This is not a remote or hybrid opportunity.Position SummaryLoud and Live is seeking a highly organized, hands-on General Manager of Venues to oversee venue operations, event execution, and production coordination across live events, concerts, festivals, brand activations, and special events.This role is responsible for managing the full operational lifecycle of events including pre-production planning, vendor coordination, staffing, venue readiness, event-day execution, and post-event breakdown. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, understands live event logistics at a high level, and can lead teams through complex builds, load-ins, and live show operations while maintaining professionalism and operational excellence.The General Manager of Venues will work closely with internal departments, production teams, promoters, vendors, sponsors, security, and venue partners to ensure events are executed safely, efficiently, and at a world-class standard.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day venue operations and ensure venue readiness for all events and activationsManage event execution from advance planning through load-out and post-event reconciliationCoordinate venue logistics including production schedules, dock access, power requirements, back-of-house operations, crowd flow, and guest experienceLead operational planning meetings and communicate timelines, run-of-show details, and venue requirements to all stakeholdersEnsure all events comply with venue policies, permitting requirements, safety standards, and operational proceduresPartner cross-functionally to maximize venue utilization and revenue opportunitiesSupport premium hospitality, sponsorship, and experiential programming initiativesCoordinate and act as operational partner for live event production including staging, lighting, audio, video, rigging, temporary structures, and scenic buildsManage event load-in/load-out schedules and ensure efficient use of venue resources and laborWork directly with production managers, technical directors, touring teams, and vendors during event setup and executionTroubleshoot operational and production issues in real time during live eventsSupport festival and large-scale event operations including multi-day builds and overnight execution schedulesRecruit, build, schedule, and manage on-call event staff and operational support teamsOversee labor coordination including stagehands, setup crews, runners, guest services, maintenance, and third-party vendorsTrain staff on venue standards, event procedures, emergency protocols, and customer service expectationsLead event-day teams with a proactive, solutions-oriented management styleAssist in developing SOPs and operational best practices for venue and event managementMarketing, Revenue & Venue GrowthPartner with marketing, sponsorship, and programming teams to support venue revenue growth and audience development initiativesAssist in developing venue calendars that maximize utilization across concerts, festivals, private events, brand activations, community programming, and special eventsSupport promotional initiatives by ensuring operational alignment with marketing campaigns, sponsor activations, and experiential programsCollaborate with internal creative and content teams to enhance the guest experience and strengthen venue brand identityIdentify operational opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, retention, and repeat attendanceSupport sponsorship integration and premium hospitality experiences within venue environmentsProvide operational input on new event concepts, venue enhancements, and experiential opportunities that drive incremental revenuePartner with leadership on strategic initiatives related to venue growth, operational scalability, and long-term development opportunitiesMonitor event performance, guest feedback, and operational trends to help improve venue performance and overall customer experienceWork closely with the VP of Entertainment and programming teams to identify, develop, and secure new event opportunities that drive venue utilization and revenue growthAssist in programming venue calendars by cultivating relationships with promoters, producers, brands, community organizations, agencies, and event partnersSupport business development initiatives by identifying emerging event concepts, partnership opportunities, and scalable entertainment programmingCollaborate with internal leadership on long-term venue strategy, audience growth, and market positioning initiativesBuild and maintain relationships within the local entertainment, hospitality, tourism, and event community to support venue growth and visibilityVendor & Partner CoordinationServe as a primary operational contact for vendors, contractors, promoters, sponsors, and external partnersCoordinate with security, medical, parking, sanitation, and facilities teams to ensure seamless executionManage vendor compliance including COIs, credentials, access control, and operational approvalsAssist with sourcing operational vendors, rentals, and event support services as neededServe as a primary operational liaison with local municipalities, county representatives, facility managers, permitting agencies, and public-sector stakeholdersMaintain strong working relationships with city and county officials to support operational alignment, permitting, compliance, and event executionCoordinate with venue landlords, facility management teams, public safety departments, and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth event operations and long-term venue partnership successRepresent the venue professionally in meetings with governmental agencies, community stakeholders, and operational partnersFinancial & Administrative OversightAssist with event budgeting, labor forecasting, and operational cost managementTrack operational expenses and support post-event reporting and reconciliationHelp optimize staffing models and operational efficiencies while maintaining event quality standardsMaintain accurate operational records, schedules, inventory logs, and venue documentationMaintain Momentus software in coordination with VP of EntertainmentQualifications5+ years of experience in venue management, live events, concerts, festivals, experiential marketing, or production operationsStrong understanding of live event production, logistics, staging, and venue operationsExperience managing event builds, load-ins/load-outs, and operational teams in high-volume environmentsProven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneouslyExperience working with on-call labor pools and third-party event vendorsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to remain calm under pressure and make decisions quickly in live event environmentsFamiliarity with event safety protocols, permitting, and operational compliance standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office, and event management platforms preferredAbility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended event hours as requiredPreferred ExperienceExperience with festivals, touring productions, sports and entertainment venues, or large-scale public eventsBilingual English/Spanish preferredExperience working with union and non-union labor environmentsKnowledge of venue infrastructure, power distribution, and temporary event installationsForklift/scissor lift certification is a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods during eventsAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
