General Manager

Responsibilities

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for meeting McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with the corporate leader to set restaurant goals and creates a plan to achieve those goals. The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set their own goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching to improve their departments. The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong team.

Qualifications

• General Manager experience running high‑volume locations.
• Strong background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail.
• Minimum age 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate‑owned restaurants.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
