General Manager

Overview

We are seeking a General Manager (GM) for the Mary Brickell Village shopping center. The GM will be responsible for the overall property operations including budget development and management, capital expenditure planning, project and vendor management and staff supervision. The GM will also respond to tenant needs, develop and maintain positive public relations with municipal and civic organizations, identify and initiate ancillary income-generating opportunities, maintain vacancies in marketable condition, coordinate delivery of premises to tenants and monitor tenant openings and closings. The ideal candidate will understand the market and implement strategies to remain competitive through the development and implementation of marketing programs, advertising initiatives and property enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property operations, budget development and management, capital expenditure planning, project and vendor management, and staff supervision.
• Respond to tenant needs and maintain positive public relations with municipal and civic organizations.
• Identify and initiate ancillary income opportunities; maintain marketable vacancies; coordinate delivery of premises to tenants; monitor tenant openings and closings.
• Develop and implement marketing programs, advertising initiatives, and property enhancements to remain competitive.
• Set and monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail property management; enclosed mall experience preferred.
• Experience developing and executing marketing plans for properties, including social media.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Self-starter with strong communication skills; technology-forward mindset with curiosity for AI and innovative solutions.
