Lead Software EngineerEssential Responsibilities:A Lead Software Engineer working in a team made up of Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, User Interaction Design Engineers, Software Architects, and the Product Owner team to lead the design, development, and delivery of high quality software in a fast paced, challenging, and creative environment. In this role you will be:Responsible for design of Software Modules.Own and communicate design specification to stakeholders.Own development responsibility of your design.Lead and guide Jr. developers.Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited instituteMinimum 7 years of experience in software developmentMinimum 5 years of experience with Java programming languagesTechnical Skills and Experiences:Strong knowledge of OOD, software design patterns and principlesJava 5/6 expertStrong knowledge of J2EEExperience of Jboss 5.x/7.x configuration and deploymentStrong JPA, JTA, JMS and Spring frameworkKnowledge of SOA based development and Cloud computingStrong Web Service, XML technologies (SOAP, JAXB, WSDL, XML)Strong knowledge JUnit and Test Driven Development practicesExperience with Oracle SQLOther Desired Characteristics:Strong problem solving abilitiesGood understanding of OSGI servicesExperience building IT systems like ERP, CRM, etcPrior experience of working with Contract Management software is a big plusExperience working with Agile software development methodologiesAble to work under minimal supervisionEncourages input from all members of the teamHigh energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarityAble to energize teams through inclusiveness and connection with peopleBuilds loyalty and commitmentAble to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
