Gastroenterologist/Advanced Endoscopist – Danbury, Connecticut

Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, seeks a full‑time Gastroenterologist/Advanced Endoscopist. The role includes both outpatient practice and inpatient coverage, with potential faculty appointment.

Compensation: $75,000 sign‑on bonus, retention package, relocation allowance, competitive base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and dues.

• Board certified/eligible gastroenterology physician
• 4th year Advanced Endoscopy training or equivalent experience
• New or recent graduates, including 2024 advanced endoscopy graduates, are encouraged to apply
• Ready to collaborate within a collegial team of 17 physicians and 11 advanced practitioners

Responsibilities include outpatient gastroenterology/endoscopy procedures and inpatient coverage.

Danbury Hospital is a not‑for‑profit community hospital founded in 1885, with 371 beds, a Level II Trauma Center and over 70,000 ED visits annually. It serves a broad regional population and is affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean and Yale School of Medicine.

Location: Danbury, Connecticut – approximately 60 miles northeast of New York City, offering proximity to urban centers and recreational opportunities.
