Finance DirectorFuturePAC, the campaign committee of the Oregon House Democrats, is seeking to hire a collaborative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented professional to help lead House Democrats and Democratic candidates to victory in the 2026 election cycle. The Finance Director will be responsible for setting and reaching ambitious fundraising goals to support the work of the Caucus and our candidates and campaigns.

The role reports directly to the Executive Director and will manage an evolving fundraising team.Key areas of responsibility include:Design and execute a winning fundraising plan for FuturePAC in collaboration with the Executive Director and Caucus LeadershipTrack, project, and monitor cash flow and available spendingTrain, consult, and coordinate with staff, candidates, and House Democrats on individual fundraising plans and strategiesOrganize, manage, and prospect donors for call time for membersManage grassroots/small-dollar and major donor programsOrganize successful fundraising eventsCoordinate and write initial copy for direct mail and digital fundraising appealsManage and motivate other members of the finance teamSupport candidates and campaign staff with compliance questionsOther duties as assignedRequired qualifications include:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly and open attitudeDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines to complete projects on agreed-upon timelines.Ability to remain flexible, handling multiple work streams and pivoting when needed.Ability to work in a high-stress environment under tight campaign deadlines, with a tendency for organization, kindness, and humorA minimum of one cycle of experience in political fundraising and development, with a demonstrated track record of success, is required. Past electoral campaign fundraising experience preferred.Successful event planning and project management experienceExperience managing a database or CRM and organizing fundraising dataStrong commitment to equity, racial justice, and alignment with our goal of electing Democrats to the Oregon House of RepresentativesCapacity to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, both in-person and remotelyValid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and ability to travel statewide (less than 10%)Ideal qualifications include:Experience with NGP-VANKnowledge of ORESTAR and campaign finance in OregonKnowledge of Oregon donors, advocacy groups, and Oregon elected officialsWe know there are great candidates who won't fit everything we've described above or who have important skills we haven't thought of.
