Kidstrong General ManagerKidStrong General Managers are the leaders of the center – it is the responsibility of the General Manager to foster a culture of learning and development for both their Coaches and the Families that attend the center. The General Manager is a talented, welcoming, and engaging leader who is focused on defining goals and delivering an exceptional experience for the kids, families, and team members. The goal of the General Manager is to drive the business of the center, develop and train their coaching team, build the culture of their center.Responsibilities:Understand and drive the center's key KPI's and financials, including a profit and loss statement.Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families to align with our core valuesOversee center level initiatives i.e.
center maintenance, training, brand consistency etc.Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance of the centerManage center level employee issues and appropriate documentationTypical schedule includes 4 weekday and 1 weekend shiftsSet and communicate Coach schedules using appropriate schedulingSchedule, sell, and staff KidStrong events, such as Camps and Parties, to maximize center profitabilitySales:Drive membership sales through high-volume outbound phone calls on inbound leads (50+ calls/day is a typical outbound phone sales effort)During the presale stage, phone calls can exceed 150+ calls/dayProperly manages and exceeds all KidStrong sales and operational budgetsRespond and follow through in a timely manner with all KidStrong corporate/owner requests and client/lead requestsDrive sales through thorough trial conversion in the centerLeadership:Foster a coaching culture - see something, say somethingContinuously assess and document Coaches based on the KidStrong Coach DNA profile and class qualityAchieve all Certifications required by KidStrong HQ per your role and responsibilitiesRecruit, screen, interview, onboard, manage, train and evaluate coaching candidatesEnsure candidates complete all paperwork to be in compliance with company policy and lawLead coaching candidates through the training process and required evaluationsEnsure coaching evaluations are up to date on a 30/60/90 modelManage and support ongoing professional development of staff through LearnUponLead center level staff meetings and trainingsAttend weekly leadership meeting with DFW leadersCoaching:Coach students by delivering an evolving curriculum that focuses on Brain, Physical, and Character development for ages ranging from 6 months - 11 years-oldComplete training through KidStrong University as requiredUnderstand the "why" behind the KidStrong curriculumDemonstrate and manage the implementation of various programming and curriculum elementsCommunicate professionally with co-workers in SlackMust be able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lift and repeatedly move equipment up to 25 pounds in weightMust be comfortable physically working with kids to ensure proper technique and safetyLead monthly center staff meetings focused on culture, development, product, and performanceSkills/Qualifications:Passion for working with children is non-negotiableComfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding variety of topicsPrior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not requiredPrevious experience in management is preferred but not required2 to 4 years of sales experiencePractical work experience with Google platformsPrevious experience with systems and platforms such as GloFox, Podium, CareerPlug, and Gusto is preferred but not requiredIntermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanicsCPR certifiedSupervisory Responsibilities: This position will supervise all Coaches, the Lead Coach, and the Assistant General Manager.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.KidStrong is a private child development training center focused on brain, physical & character development for ages walking through 11 years old.
