Our client is an independent accounting firm with multiple locations across the country providing audit, tax, risk, and forensic advisory services for entrepreneurial, public, non-profit, and individual clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform and review fund transactions, reconciliations, valuations, capital call and distribution processing, and waterfall calculations
- Prepare and review financial statements and capital account statements
- Prepare NAV workpapers/reports and performance reports
- Prepare financial statements including statement of assets and liabilities, statement of operations, statement of changes in shareholders’ equity, and statement of cash flows
- Ensure investments and securities are accounted for correctly including private equity investments, equities, fixed income, options, futures, private placements, and many other investments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 3-5 years of experience at a fund administrator or within public accounting
- Experience within private equity or exposure to private equity clients preferred
- Understanding of capital call and distribution transactions, investor allocations, and various waterfall calculations
- Understanding of various private equity investments, securities, and financial markets
- Knowledge of Paxus preferred
Salary Range : $90,000-$110,000
