Software Engineer III

PR: $74.17 / hr W2

Duration: 6-month contract with chance to convert to FTE

Looking for experience in AWS environment using React, Node, DevOps (Github Action), Terraform. Factory for Infrastructure as Code, and AWS managed services.

Responsibilities

• Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.
• Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.
• Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: 10+ years; extensive experience to plan and accomplish tasks.
• Strong Kubernetes – experience running .NET Core applications on Kubernetes.
• Experience building APIs and migrating existing .NET applications on virtual machines to the cloud; orchestration work on those APIs.
• Modern .NET, AWS, Node, React; experience with Kubernetes.
• Nice to have AWS Cloud Developer or Architect certifications.

Key Projects

• Working on a combination of key projects across TDI plus helping with existing work.

• Day-to-day – building APIs for existing .NET applications on virtual machines and moving to cloud; orchestration work on those APIs.
• Top soft skills for culture fit: Growth mentality, problem solver, time management, verbal and written skills.
• AWS Cloud Developer or Architect certifications are nice to have.
• Looking for 2-4 .NET Core experience within this JP.
• Strong Kubernetes – have to work with .NET Core; running .NET applications on Kubernetes; Modern .NET.
• AWS, Node, React.
