In this vital role, you will uphold uncompromising accuracy across our ledgers, manage local and state tax filings, streamline financial workflows, and translate raw financial data into clear, actionable reporting that empowers leadership to make sound strategic decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle Financial Ownership: Oversee end-to-end accounting processes, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.Month-End Closing & Compliance: Execute efficient month-end and year-end closes while ensuring strict adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and corporate financial standards.Tax Administration & Filing: Prepare, review, and file routine tax returns (such as state sales and use tax, local business taxes, and 1099 annual reporting), manage tax schedules, and serve as the internal point of contact for external CPA firms during annual tax season.Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain comprehensive, auditable tracking systems for company inventory, capital assets, and recurring depreciation schedules.Reporting & Executive Insights: Synthesize financial data into structured balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, delivering clear insights directly to executive leadership to guide decision-making.
