Forklift OperatorEmployee works under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager on routine duties following standard policies and procedures. Refers problems and questions to the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager.Job Responsibilities:Operate forklift safely to move product into inventory/onto and off truckEnsure proper rotation and placement of finished goodsProperly label product and package product for inventoryEnsure packaged quantities are correct and quality is up to standardsLoad trucks with finished product for deliveryBefore loading product for shipment ensure packaging and pallet are safe and adequate for shipmentComplete Daily paperwork including inspection reports for equipmentOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferredAt least 2 years of experience operating similar equipmentHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceAbility to read and comprehend documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructionsOpen to work day or night shift as neededForklift CertifiedAbility to work in a team environmentBilingual in English and Spanish preferredWhile performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of timeAbility to lift objects weighing up to 80 pounds each, with assistance if needed, at heights from floor level to 4 feet highMust wear company provided personal protective equipment - earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes*, and protective glassesCandidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire and will be eligible to participate in Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employmentCompensation:$21 - $23 per hour401(k) plan/group retirement savings programShort-term and long-term disability benefitsLife insuranceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offPaid holidayWhat CRH Offers You:Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRH:CRH has a long and proud heritage.
