What You Will Do
As a Forklift Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.
The Forklift Operator supports warehouse operations by safely transporting inventory using forklifts and other powered industrial equipment. This role requires equipment proficiency, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
A successful Forklift Operator understands warehouse procedures, inventory movement, equipment inspections, and material handling practices while maintaining efficient workflows and accurate product movement. Dependable performance contributes directly to operational success.

Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.
- Minimum 1 year of PIT and Man-Up/Cherry Picker forklift experience required
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
- Inventory control and warehouse experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely in a warehouse environment
- Exceptional attendance and reliability required
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
- Verify products against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
- Safely operate a Man-Up/Order Picker forklift to stock inventory in elevated rack locations
- Put away products using warehouse management system (WMS) instructions
- Replenish pick locations to maintain inventory availability
- Accurately scan and record inventory movements using RF scanners
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
- Label, organize, and stage products for storage or replenishment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Assist with material handling and general warehouse housekeeping duties
- Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
- Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
- Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
