Flexographic Press Operator - 2nd Shift

Flexographic Press Operator (2nd Shift)Pay: $25-32/hr (depending on prior experience)Shift: Mon-Thu (2pm-12am) - Training on 1st Shift (6am-2pm Mon-Fri)We are seeking a 2nd Shift Flexographic Press Operator to set-up and operate Flexo presses for a printing & packaging facility in St. Charles, MO.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent2-5 years of related Printing experienceKnowledge of Flexographic printing methodsAbility to Bend, Reach, Crawl, Twist, and lift at least 50 pound unassistedAbility to Stand for long periods of time is requiredAbility to see, hear, count, read, measure, and follow verbal directions in EnglishJob Duties:Set up press. Use appropriate dies, inks and other materials as specified by the order.

Load rolls of stock on the press.Operate press. Make press adjustments as needed to ensure print consistency, quality and registration. Verify proper color shades, die cuts, etc.

Ensure items are varnished, glued, and/or folded as needed.Mount printing plates properly on cylinders.Adjust and mix inks per job requirement.Obtain approval of product before press run. Run job at pre-determined run speed. Maintain waste levels within set parameters.

Unload product at end of line.Coordinate press crew efforts with other operators. Train other workers as instructed.Maintain safe, clean workstation.
