Flexographic Press OperatorWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexo Press Operator to join our team. As a Flexo Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. You will ensure that the equipment is functioning properly, monitor the printing process, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain print quality and productivity.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience as a Flexographic Press Operator or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of flexographic printing techniques and equipmentProficient in reading and interpreting job orders, blueprints, and work instructionsFamiliarity with different types of inks, substrates, and adhesives used in flexographic printingAbility to operate, troubleshoot, and perform regular maintenance on flexographic printing equipmentExcellent attention to detail and ability to maintain print quality throughout production runsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make adjustments to optimize print performanceAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environmentGood communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisorsResponsibilities:Set up and prepare flexographic printing presses for production runsLoad and position printing plates and cylinders onto the press, ensuring proper alignmentMix inks according to specifications and fill ink fountains or reservoirsAdjust press settings, such as speed, tension, and registration, to ensure proper print qualityMonitor press operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain print quality and productivityIdentify and troubleshoot printing issues, such as color mismatches, streaking, or registration errorsPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of the press and related equipmentMonitor and control ink and substrate waste to minimize production costsFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaCollaborate with other team members, such as prepress operators and quality control technicians, to ensure efficient and accurate productionDocument production and quality data accurately and complete necessary paperwork
