Firmware Engineer

Onsite out of Sunnyvale (Hybrid after training period)

1 year contract + extensions

15 days of PTO

Pay rate: $85-90/hr

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Experience with MCUs (preferably Nordic) and STM32 microcontrollers. Proficiency in C/C++ programming. Experience with peripherals (USB, SPI, MIPI CSI/DSI, I2C, UART, GPIO). Proven track record in producing production-quality, fail-safe firmware for low-power real-time systems. Knowledge of ARM Cortex M0/M3/M4 architecture, boot mechanisms, and interrupt priorities. Skills in low-level debugging and driver development. Experience with consumer electronics. Familiarity with embedded systems development tools and environments. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) or Zephyr

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Zigbee). Understanding of hardware design and schematics.
