Financial Reporting Supervisor - External Reporting (90% onsite)

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Financial Reporting Supervisor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of up to $150,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including supporting schedules.
• Provide technical expertise and accounting analysis on the processing of existing and new programs/processes, making recommendations for new processes to assure compliance.
• Communicate and support team, internal customers, outside vendors, and management regarding issues, policies, practices, and programs; create reports as needed to manage issues and audits.
• Review operations and reports for accounting accuracy and compliance with company policy, Federal, State, and local laws.
• Supervise employees, including the hiring process, terminations, salary changes, performance appraisals, performance areas, goals, coaching, training, scheduling of work, and other associated tasks.

• A 4-year college degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of public accounting experience with progressive and relevant accounting experience, with Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Exhibit professional communication skills, both written and oral.
• Have relevant experience in preparing and reviewing technical accounting memos.

• Possess supervisory experience (preferred).
• Hold an active CPA license (preferred).
• Have previous experience preparing annual financial statements in a large multi-entity company (strongly preferred).
• Have previous experience providing accounting support to external auditors (strongly preferred).
• Be able to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
