Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting
Location: In-Office – Miami, FL, ~4 days/week onsite
Reports To: Director of Financial Reporting
Direct Reports: None; individual contributor with executive exposure

Position Summary
The Manager of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting will own SEC reporting preparation, technical accounting research, and multi-entity consolidations across a growing platform of operating entities. This is a high-visibility role supporting acquisition activity and strengthening public-company-level financial reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements
- Lead technical accounting research and draft policy memos for complex transactions
- Manage multi-entity consolidations (10+ entities; primarily U.S.-based)
- Support acquisition accounting including purchase price accounting and integration
- Partner with external auditors and support SOX-aligned internal control initiatives
Qualifications
- CPA required
- 5+ years combined public accounting and industry experience
- Strong foundation in SEC reporting and US GAAP technical research
- Experience with consolidations and complex accounting areas (ASC 805, ASC 810 exposure preferred)
- ERP experience (NetSuite preferred); advanced Excel required
- Clear communicator comfortable working directly with executive leadership
- Office-first structure with strong executive access
- CFO and VP of Accounting closely involved in finance build-out
