Financial Reporting Manager
Venteon Finance is currently engaged on a Financial Reporting Manager search for a stable long‑time manufacturing client located in the Detroit area.
Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr – $160,000.00/yr
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA Designation
- 5+ Years of experience including Public Accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Technical Accounting / GAAP Research skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and related footnotes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Stay current on emerging accounting pronouncements and assess their impact on the company’s financial reporting
- Assess implications of new transactions or accounting standards on quarterly and annual reporting packages
- Lead the implementation of new accounting standards for private companies and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support the audit process and resolve any audit‑related inquiries
- Support development of strong internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure the integrity of financial data
- Support Treasury’s quarterly external reporting requirements with outside lenders
