We are seeking an experienced Controller for a contract opportunity in the Memphis, TN area. This role will be responsible for overseeing core accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and timely month-end close activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical accounting background and experience working in a complex corporate environment. Hands-on experience with either SAP or Oracle Fusion is preferred or some other major ERP.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and management reporting
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes
- Analyze financial results and provide insights to business leadership
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
- Partner with finance and operational leadership on financial planning and business decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and efficiency
- Support audits and other financial reporting requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related xhqgsiq field
- Controller or senior accounting leadership experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with SAP or Oracle Fusion is required
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Experience managing or leading accounting teams preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
