The Automotive Finance Director is proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability and collection ability, while also overseeing a team of F&I Managers.What We OfferA performance-based commission structure and incentives for your extraordinary skills and knowledge.A comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, voluntary benefits and retirement plans.Access to ongoing training and development opportunities.A supportive and professional work cultureSteady, high-volume workExclusive employee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts, and services to reward your tireless efforts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSells insurance and financing products to customers.Expert in title laws and vehicle registration processes.Maintains required certifications and role-specific proficiencies.Reviews and submits deals to lenders, makes credit decisions, and closes deals efficiently.Ensures full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Prepares contracts, paperwork, and delivers finalized deals.Sends complete deal packages to lenders, following departmental procedures.Audits team deals post-sale for accuracy.Ensures prompt funding of all contracts.Upsells vehicle service contracts and aftermarket products.Leads the Finance Department, ensuring full corporate compliance.Coaches and trains finance staff on best practices.Processes cash and check receipts accurately and on time.Performs additional duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Skills & Abilities:2+ years of F&I experience in an automotive dealership.Proven ability to partner with Sales to maximize deal profitability.Strong, stable work history with long-term career focus.Outgoing, relationship-driven, and sales-oriented personality.Proficient in MS Office, internet, and dealership software.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong math, organization, and multitasking abilities; thrives under deadlines.Confident in asking for the sale and closing deals.Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.
