Japanese bilingual Finance & Investment Operations Manager — Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Overview
A unique hybrid role that blends finance operations , investment project management , and corporate treasury oversight for a global investment platform. This position serves as a key connector between HQ in Japan , U.S. fund administrators, and external partners, ensuring smooth execution of investment, fund, and corporate financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investment Project Management & Financial Operations
- Lead end-to-end investment project execution with HQ and external partners.
- Design and manage investment schemes; oversee securities settlements and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare quarterly financial reports, fund business plans, and cash flow analyses.
- Coordinate fund finance operations such as capital calls, fee payments, and reporting packages.
- Act as the primary finance liaison between HQ and U.S. entities.
- Support high‑quality and timely reporting to global stakeholders.
2. Corporate Treasury Operations
- Oversee daily treasury functions: payments, cash positioning, fund transfers.
- Monitor and forecast liquidity for operations and investments.
- Maintain and reconcile corporate bank accounts; handle account openings and documentation.
- Coordinate securities/investment settlements with HQ or partners.
- Strengthen internal controls and improve treasury workflows.
- Support month‑end/year‑end close for cash, investments, and debt.
3. Fund Operations Support
- Assist with quarterly investment updates and overseas reporting to HQ.
- Manage organization of key investment materials (approvals, contracts, reports).
- Serve as the information bridge across HQ and multiple U.S. fund entities.
4. Corporate Governance & Compliance
- Coordinate board resolutions, license renewals, and regulatory filings.
- Maintain corporate documents, internal rules, and approval records.
- Ensure seamless handover of tasks to General Affairs, where applicable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CFA/fund ops experience a plus).
- 5+ years in finance operations, fund management, or corporate accounting.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, cross‑border finance, security transactions, and fund structures (GP/LP).
- Business‑level English and Japanese.
- Strong analytical skills; Excel proficiency; QuickBooks experience preferred.
- Excellent organization/project‑management capabilities; able to handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to collaborate across time zones.

Base pay range
