CEC has experienced significant recent growth and has established itself as the go-to supplier for a diversified product line supporting a wide spectrum of markets from commercial products, military customers, to space research laboratories.The FS Installation Process Specialist will be working on a variety of challenging technical assignments such as constructing, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining and installing equipment, RF products and electro-mechanical devices, components, and systems. You will need to assist others in training them in how to properly install equipment and where needed design fixtures and processes to install said equipment. Up to 75% travel will be required with extended stays.ResponsibilitiesDesign and create processes to assist in the installation of systemsDesign fixtures, tools and other items to aid in the installation of systemsDevelop and implement process improvements and cost reductionsSpecify processing and generate work instructionsAssist in building and assuring the proper tools, parts and hardware are ready to ship to site for installationPerform difficult electronic, mechanical and technical assignments such as constructing, repairing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing & maintaining electronic and mechanical equipment, microwave products, electro-mechanical components, devices and systemsWork from schematics, engineering drawings, wire lists, written or verbal instructionsRecommend changes or modifications to improve the operation or the quality of electronic or mechanical products and equipmentDetermines methods, operations and sequences in setting procedures for constructing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, processing, and modifying electronic and mechanical products and equipment as requiredTrain installation team on process controls and collaborate with Quality to meet specificationUphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and TeamworkDemonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and ConductIt is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problemDuties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the businessQualifications5 years related experienceAdvanced skills in large scale assemblies and systemsBasic computer skillsMust be proficient writing and speaking EnglishStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to read technical drawing and specificationsCandidates must possess an active Secret security clearance issued by the U.S.

Government prior to selection. Active DoD-issued clearances are preferred, although not required. Work to Continuously Improve the operations of the Department.Working ConditionsThis position works in a production and customer site environment with the risk of injury. Some safety equipment must be worn when working with equipment. Bending, lifting and pushing up to 70 pounds is required.TRAVEL UP to 75%Role will require a pre-employment background screening including a credit and DMV checkPay may range from $45.96 to $47.62 hourlyThe pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.Base salary is one component of your total rewards package.
