Field Sales EngineerFor this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $89,600 - 134,400 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.Position Summary: The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for the sale of all ASCO Products into an assigned territory to both existing and new accounts and providing a customer service level which meets or exceeds the customer's expectations.

Responsibilities include:SalesEstablish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for ASCO's products/servicesConduct routine calls on all assigned accountsImprove ASCO specification position and minimize competitors listedTrack and influence projects from pre-design to close out phase, maximize sales of all ASCO products, communicate project status to sales team and develop sales strategies to close ordersIncrease market share for new products, effectively coordinate sales efforts with managementExhaust all options for urgent orders/quick ship opportunitiesIdentify product advantages and competitive threatsPrepare and deliver sales proposals and follow up with key decision makersHost/participate in trade shows and conventionsClose sales with assigned accountsDevelop sales plans/strategiesWork with applications groups on technical and design issuesFollow-up on projects quotedCoordinate quotes and submittal drawings with internal resourcesCoordinate proper inter-territory involvementIdentify customer's needs, adapt, and empathize with their concernCustomer RelationshipProfessional and proper email/written correspondencesAcknowledge customer and other field requestsBe engaging and enthusiastic when speaking with clientsDevelop and conduct routine product seminarsDevelop action plans for improving assigned accountsManage business relationships and identify impactful concernsEnsure a quick turnaround of customer enquiries and the delivery of servicesDevelop plans for introducing new productsCoordinate proper inter-ASCO sales involvement (ASI/Load Bank)Coordinate and manage projects internally and externally to ensure smooth completionDevelop tactics to improve relationships/salesProperly maintain opportunities via company CRMResolve customer issues timely and completely and assist in problem solving calls with inside sales teamProvide detailed project updates, on time, for monthly sales meeting and work closely with Project Management teamWhat qualifications will make you successful for this role? 3+ years sales experience of similar products; local experience preferred. Knowledgeable of the power industry & three-phase electricity. Utilizes strong product, competitor and customer knowledge to act as a consultant to targeted and established accounts. Excellent interpersonal, presentation & communication skills. A drive to respond immediately to both customers and other SE employees. Proficient in all Microsoft applications. Proven ability to communicate technical information to a wide audience. Valid driver's license & ability to drive to construction sites and management offices required.
