You will be the person who shows up, figures it out, and gets it done — whether that means mounting security cameras, assembling fixtures, pulling cable, patching drywall, setting up a new POS terminal, or driving three hours to our next location with a van full of equipment.This role is approximately 60% handyman, IT, and general installation work, 40% driving and field travel. You will work directly alongside our two IT Field Technicians and report to the Director of Corporate Operations.If you are resourceful, physically capable, comfortable with tools and tech, and enjoy variety in your work — this role is for you.What You Will DoTechnology & Construction Support (Supporting Role)Assist IT Field Technicians with installation of cameras, access control, alarm systems, networking equipment, and POS hardwareRun ethernet, connect network hardware, and verify basic connectivityTroubleshoot basic technology issues at retail locations; escalate complex issues to the IT teamLearn new systems and techniques through hands-on experience and self-directed researchPerform installations across retail locations: wall mounts, shelving, cabinetry, drawers, furniture, and fixturesComplete basic drywall patching, painting, and light exterior work including signageSupport store setups, refreshes, and remodel projectsPull and route low-voltage cabling for technology and security systemsWork in a range of physical conditions including tight spaces, overhead environments, and confined areasIdentify facility issues and escalate repairs as neededDriving & Field TravelOperate a company-provided van to transport equipment and materials statewideTravel primarily to Twin Cities metro and southern Minnesota retail locationsComplete drives of 8+ hours as needed; occasional overnight stays requiredUse personal vehicle when needed; mileage reimbursement providedWhat We Are Looking ForRequired:Valid Minnesota driver's license with a clean driving recordProven handyman aptitude — you do not need formal training, but you need to be able to figure things outBasic technology comfort — you can follow instructions, set up hardware, and troubleshoot common issuesPhysically capable of working in tight or uncomfortable spaces and regularly lifting up to 50 lbsWillingness to travel statewide with occasional overnightsAbility to pass a pre-employment background checkMust meet all state requirements for employment at a licensed cannabis facility in MinnesotaPreferred:Experience with low-voltage cabling, structured wiring, or security/AV installationsFamiliarity with basic network hardware and connectivity troubleshootingExperience in retail, construction, or facilities maintenanceAny relevant trade certifications or coursework (low-voltage, electrical, IT, or similar)Compensation & Benefits$70,000 annual salaryCompany van provided for work travelMileage reimbursement for personal vehicle useBenefits package (details provided during hiring process)MN Cannabis Services is an equal opportunity employer.
