Full training on laser machinery is provided, and technicians are home on weekends.What You'll DoTravel to customer sites to diagnose and repair laser machining equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-system issuesPerform repairs, rebuilds, adjustments, and system testingSupport customers by phone when remote troubleshooting is possibleRead and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentationDocument service work, findings, and resolutionsProvide professional, clear communication with customersWhat You BringProven technical aptitude, ideally 4+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical troubleshooting (military experience/training is highly valued and transferable).Proficiency using hand tools and precision measurement equipment (e.g., voltmeters, multimeters, gages).Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to write technical reports and provide professional customer support.Ability to maintain a rigorous travel schedule (typically Monday–Friday).Preferred (Not Required):Military technical training/certifications or an associate/technical degree.Experience using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, or similar toolsBackground repairing mechanical components (ball screws, bearings, gearing, way systems)Experience with precision measurement tools (indicators, micrometers, gage blocks, optical comparator; laser interferometer or ball bar is a plus)Physical RequirementsFrequent bending, standing, kneeling, twisting, and liftingRegular use of hands, tools, and computer equipmentAbility to lift 20–50 lbs as neededGood visual and color acuityWhat Makes This Opportunity Stand OutCompetitive hourly pay + overtimeFull benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k)Paid training on high-tech laser machineryCareer growth in a stable, in-demand industryTravel during the week, home on weekendsAll travel expenses covered
